About the author
Rozie Kelly is a novelist based in West Yorkshire who has worked with the Arvon Foundation's creative-writing courses. Kingfisher, her first novel, developed through programs supporting new and independent writing.
Kingfisher follows queer love and friendship through grief, desire, and uneven power. Its small scale allows attention to remain on how people ask for care, misunderstand one another, and live with the consequences.
