About the author
Katherine Center is a Houston-born American writer whose novels combine romance, family change, work, and recovery after a disruptive event. She studied at Vassar College and earned a graduate degree in fiction at the University of Houston.
Her books include How to Walk Away, Things You Save in a Fire, The Bodyguard, The Rom-Commers, and The Love Haters. Several have been adapted or developed for film, and her fiction is known for placing comic warmth beside injury, grief, or professional uncertainty.
