About the author
John Green is an American novelist, nonfiction writer, and online video creator. Alongside his fiction, he has worked on educational projects including Vlogbrothers and Crash Course and has become a public advocate for more equitable access to global health care.
Everything Is Tuberculosis grew from Green's friendship with Henry Reider, whom he met during treatment in Sierra Leone. The book places one patient's experience inside the scientific and social history of a curable disease that still follows lines of poverty and political neglect.
