About the author
James S. A. Corey is the shared pen name of Daniel Abraham and Ty Franck. Together they wrote The Expanse novels and stories, a solar-system-scale series combining space opera with political, economic, biological, and engineering constraints.
After completing The Expanse, the pair began The Captive's War with The Mercy of Gods. The new series moves from conflict among human factions to conquest by a multi-species empire, while keeping collaboration and institutional behaviour central.
