About the author
Stephen Witt is an American journalist and nonfiction writer educated at the University of Chicago and Columbia Journalism School. His work combines reporting about technology and business with the people who built, used, and disrupted large systems.
The Thinking Machine follows Jensen Huang and Nvidia from graphics hardware to the centre of artificial-intelligence computing. Witt's earlier How Music Got Free traced another technical shift through the people who changed an industry before institutions understood the change.
