About the author
Olga Tokarczuk is a Polish novelist, essayist, and public intellectual whose books combine myth, travel, history, ecology, psychology, and formally fragmented narration.
Her works include Primeval and Other Times, Flights, Drive Your Plow Over the Bones of the Dead, and The Books of Jacob. She received the 2018 Nobel Prize in Literature, announced in 2019, and Flights won the International Booker Prize in Jennifer Croft’s translation.
