About the author
Marcus Kliewer is a Canadian horror writer from British Columbia who previously worked in film and stop-motion animation. During the COVID-19 production shutdown he began publishing short fiction in Reddit’s NoSleep community.
We Used to Live Here grew from an online story into his debut novel, using a house, contradictory records, and an uninvited family to create domestic and cosmic uncertainty. His work has also attracted film development.
