About the author
Lisa Scottoline is an American novelist and former attorney who writes legal thrillers, domestic suspense, historical fiction, and humorous nonfiction. Her Rosato & Associates books established a recurring group of women lawyers in Philadelphia.
Later stand-alone novels place family relationships inside criminal and psychological uncertainty. The Unraveling of Julia follows a woman whose inheritance and new surroundings make her doubt both other people and her own perceptions.
