Diana B. Henriques is an American investigative journalist and author whose work has covered financial fraud, regulation, and the institutions that manage other people's money. She spent many years at The New York Times and was part of the team reporting on Bernard Madoff's Ponzi scheme.
The Wizard of Lies grew from that reporting and from later interviews with Madoff in prison. Henriques has also written about market history, securities regulation, and earlier financial scandals.
