About the author
Brandon Sanderson is an American fantasy and science-fiction writer known for large connected worlds, explicit systems of magic, and long-form series architecture. He also completed the final Wheel of Time novels from Robert Jordan's notes.
Mistborn and The Stormlight Archive show two scales of his work. The first begins as a revolutionary heist and resolves a trilogy; the second develops Roshar through multiple nations, histories, magical orders, and character arcs across much larger volumes.
