Adrian Tchaikovsky is a British writer of science fiction and fantasy whose work often explores evolution, ecology, cognition, empire, and the problem of communicating with minds organized differently from our own.
His books include the Shadows of the Apt sequence, Children of Time, Dogs of War, and many novellas. The Children of Time novels follow separate experiments in intelligence across immense spans of time.
